| Sports codes are starting to select their teams for winter competitions over the next few weeks and it is important that if students put their names down to play they turn up to trials and then commit themselves to the team they are selected for. Some students may be disappointed that they missed out on a particular team but this should not mean they play instead for a local club as this could impact on other students.
Teams have been set up on the numbers indicated and if students are not going to commit themselves for the season then it is important that they let the staff know now. |

School Holiday Rugby School teams were involved in two exchanges over the holidays with SHS hosting both events. On the first Monday (5th April) Thames High School brought their 1st and 2nd fifteens down for a Taranaki tour. Our 2 nd fifteen lost a close game but played very well. The final score was 24 -19. The first fifteen had a great battle and ran out 25-14 winners. Many good contacts were made and the Thames team members enjoyed their stay.
