Reid Tyrer Scholarship Terms and Conditions
The RR Tyrer Scholarship is awarded following a
bequest by the late Mr Robert Reid Tyrer. The scholarship is available to
assist a rural student from a contributing rural school to attend
Up to three scholarships will be awarded for the 2011 academic year
with a value of $400 each.
Terms
of the Award.
1.
The
scholarship will be awarded annually. Any current holder is entitled to apply
for the subsequent year.
2.
The
scholarship is only available for use while the student is currently enrolled
at

The
amount of the scholarship and the number of scholarships awarded each year will
be at the discretion of the Board of Trustees.
4.
Applicants
will have attended a rural primary school in central Taranaki and live in a
rural location.
5.
Scholarships
will be awarded on the basis of academic ability, general character and
participation in school, community and sporting activities.
6.
The
